Vereinsmeierei vs. Bubbler statt Geripptes.

Club bureaucracy vs. bubbler instead of ribbed.

The legalization of cannabis in Germany has led to a number of challenges, especially for cannabis social clubs, which face bureaucratic hurdles and societal skepticism. Here are some of the main criticisms and suggestions on how legalization could be made more consumer-friendly:

challenges and criticism

Bureaucratic hurdles: Cannabis social clubs have to apply for cultivation licenses, but many federal states have only designated responsibilities late, which complicates the process. Clubs like the " Pot Pals " in Mannheim are experiencing delays of up to three months in approval.

Legal restrictions: The planned changes to the cannabis law could be problematic for many cultivation associations. Andreas Gerhold , founder of the Cannabis Social Club Hamburg, describes the changes as a "death blow" for many clubs.

Strict regulations: Clubs are subject to strict regulations, such as a limit of 500 members and a ban on growing in residential buildings. These regulations make it difficult for clubs to operate and expand.

Social scepticism: Despite legalization, there are still reservations in society, which makes the integration of clubs difficult.

Proposals for consumer-friendly legalization.

Simplifying bureaucracy: Clearer and more uniform regulation at the federal level could reduce bureaucratic hurdles and help clubs work faster and more efficiently.

More flexible legal framework: Less restrictive legal requirements could give clubs more scope to respond to consumers' needs without compromising safety.

Better communication and transparency: Transparent communication of the legal requirements and the benefits of the clubs could help to reduce social scepticism and gain the trust of consumers.

Promote educational initiatives: Educational campaigns could help inform the public about the benefits of regulated cannabis dispensing and dispel misconceptions.

By taking these suggestions into account, the legalization of cannabis in Germany could be made more consumer-friendly by reducing both bureaucratic and social hurdles.

We admit, we wanted to open a club too. It was to be called Mr. Rauscher. Based on the tradition of Mrs. Rauscher. Just with weed. Sativas instead of Äppler. Bubblers instead of Gerippte, bongs instead of Bembel. But the jump from stoner to club member is really impossible for us. A bit undignified and somehow all beside the point.
